ABOUT US

Science Connecting Youth is a non-governmental organization that aims to guide, connect, and inspire youth to further explore and understand the field of science and medicine.

Founded in June 2020 by 3 high school students, we first wanted to get an idea of how other high school students in our area felt about post-secondary and career options. After conducting a survey, we found that 40% of Metro Vancouver high school students had trouble finding information about working in a science-related career.

We hope to inform students about the journey, experiences, and tips for particular science careers and exploring possible career options through our online platforms and future in-person events.
